Jan. 31, 2006 - About Our Rig
Jan. 29, 2006
We ordered our Lazy Daze on Sept. 20, 2005. Picking it up at the factory in Montclair, Ca. on Jan 31, 2006. Patiently waiting for this rig was hard. We will be traveling in a 2006 Lazy Daze 26.5 mid-bath model. It's a Class 'C' motor home and is built on a Ford E-450 chassis. It has a gas engine (the Triton V-10 with enough power to get us up the steepest of grades. Hopefully! Will find out this summer. The big shock will be filling up the gas tank for the first time. With prices of gas going up all the time. We chose a Lazy Daze because it is one of the highest quality class 'C' motor homes. Their reputation for high standards both in quality and safety are well known throughout the industry. They are a family owned company that has been in business for 50 years this year. We worked directly with the owner when we ordered our rig and he helped us decide on several options based on only two of us using it. There are alot of reasons why we chose this but one was windows, windows and windows! The panoramic view out three windows in the back will be great.
