Sept. 12-15, 2007 Zion National Park, Utah

Zion became a National Park in 1919. Elevations are from 4,000 to 9,000 feet. Famous places to see there are The Temple of Sinawava, Court of the Patriarchs, Angels Landing, Emerald Pools, Weeping Rock, Riverside Walk, Kolob Arch, Checkerboard Mesa and Kolob Canyons.
We took the trail to see the falls at Emerald Pools. Took a hike to Kolob Canyons. Shades of pink brush the Navajo Sandstone cliffs of Kolob Canyons in Zion Nat. Park. The five-mile road runs through ancient, tilted layers of rock and ends at a spectacular overlook.

Below is the West Temple.

We went on a hike to Riverwalk. It was a beautiful walk to the valley of the Temple of Sinawawa. Also before we took the walk there were rock climbers going to the top.
